TY2 Visit to Irish Aid 19/4/2016
As part of our TY module “Challenge to Change” we visited Irish Aid, Clonmel Street, Dublin. Irish Aid’s objectives are to reduce poverty and hunger, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa where the needs are greatest. They do this by supporting long term development and providing humanitarian assistance in over eighty countries, on behalf of the Irish people.
Irish Aid is helping to build better futures for some of the world’s poorest communities. Our visit was very interesting and highlighted the excellent work carried out by Irish Aid every year.
