No joy for 1st and 2nd year basketball girls

Our first and second year girls traveled to Rochfordbridge yesterday in the latest round of the Midlands league hoping to continue their good form.

Unfortunately they came up against a very strong home team.  The First years put up a tremendous battle before giving way on a scoreline of 27-24.  The Second years began in a determined fashion, but were eventually outclassed by a very talented and experienced Rochfordbridge team.

The girls will be hoping to bounce back (no pun intended- really!!) against Moate tomorrow, Thursday 14th February.
