Hard luck to senior football team

Commiserations to our senior footballers, who bowed out on a freezing cold day in St Lomans to a very good St Finian's, Mullingar.  The lads battled gamely throughout, but just couldn't reel in St Finian's, with the final score being 3-8 to 3-3.  There were many outstanding individual displays on a day where everyone put their shoulder to the wheel, but unfortunately it wasn't to be.  However, there's plenty of grounds for optimism for next year, with many players still eligible again.
