Challenge to Change

TY1 and TY2 participated in the Challenge to Change event on May 11th 2016. This was to show and raise further awareness about the following topics of:

1.War and displaced persons

2. Child Labour

Claire Kinahan of TY1 and Thomas Britten of TY2 introduced their class projects to the audience.
20 of the 57 participating TY students were in attendance at the event in the Tullamore Court Hotel and represented their entire class groups very well. The event on May 11th is the second of its kind in two weeks. 18 schools participated today and an additional 18, two weeks ago in Kilkenny.

A group of very talented students from TY1 had the honour and pleasure of performing a musical piece by Christy Moore, to close the day's event. Many thanks are extended to all parties that were helpful in many varied events involved in the projects chosen by both classes.
