Extra time Heartbreak for Soccer Heroines

Not to be today for our heroic Senior Girls soccer team- extra time against Pres Thurles proved a bridge too far.
We are so immensely proud of this outstanding group, and all they have achieved this past few years.  While the disappointment will be raw today, the entire journey for all the girls in 6th year who paved the way since 1st year will provide a lifetime of fond memories and achievements to be proud of always,  not to mention the uniquely special friendships forged along the way.

The 6th year girls have left a tremendous legacy and invaluable experience to pass on to the younger girls on the panel, and there is still so much to look forward to for these girls in the coming years.

To be in the last 4 in Ireland in the highest grade in any field is a rare and phenomenal thing to be able to claim, and to be the first to achieve this can never be taken away.

We wish Presentation Thurles the best of luck in the final, and once again would like to say how tremendously proud we are of our own champions.
